Notes on Singapore–Malaysia chauffeur transfers
Checkpoints, documents and realistic timing for Johor and longer West Malaysia journeys.
Johor Bahru is a scheduled transfer; Kuala Lumpur is a planned journey. The difference is checkpoint time, rest rules and the fact that a city-to-city day cannot be priced like an Orchard-to-CBD hop.
Every passenger needs valid documents. The chauffeur cannot accelerate immigration. Build slack into meeting times on both sides of the causeway.
Tuas and Woodlands behave differently by hour and by day of week. If you have a flight to catch after returning to Singapore, say so on the booking—operations will not treat it as a casual city ride.
